You know me.

You know me through and through.

You know the bits I like;

You know the parts I hate;

You know my wisdom;

You know my stupidity;

You know me when I’m alone;

You know me when I’m in company;

You know my thoughts;

You know my speaking;

You know my body;

You know my personality;

You know the ways I follow you;

You know my deviations;

You know my successes;

You know my failures;

You know my friends;

You know my enemies;

You know those I love;

You know the stranger in the street;

You know my selfishness;

You know my sacrifices.

You, Lord, lover, creator:

You know me;

You know us.

You love and protect us;

You draw us on and out;

You love and protect us;

You call us closer to you;

You, Lord, my lover and creator,

may Your Spirit love in me

today and all days,

may Your Spirit secure me

in Your knowing

in Your loving

in You.
