THE FRIENDS OF JULIAN OF NORWICH
The Friends of Julian of Norwich is an association of people inspired by the spiritual legacy of the medieval mystic and writer Julian of Norwich. We facilitate a prayer network, carry out educational initiatives and offer guidance and resources for visitors to the Julian Shrine. We have a retreat house adjacent to the shrine. The Friends of Julian run their activities from our building All Hallows Hall.
Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work, training, support and a stable home for as long as someone needs it. Emmaus has leased the old Convent building, Holy Cross House and St Mary’s Lodge guesthouse.
A group of youth workers are reimagining Belsey Bridge for the 21st Century. Together we are enacting their vision for a brand-new religious community whose life of prayer is focused on young people, and a spiritual retreat centre for young people and those people who work with them, known as With. The UK’s first bespoke ecumenical Christian community serving young people.
