Facilities Available To Conference Guests
FACILITIES/ROOMS FOR HIRE
A video and television are available for use as is an OHP and flipcharts. (and a piano and electric keyboard in the gym if required.) There is no charge for the use of this equipment. A LCD projector and laptop are available for hire at a small sum of £15 per day. There is also a photocopier on site, for which a charge is made. St Gabriel's also has a shop that sells gifts, confectionery, toiletries, stationery and cards. It is opened regularly during your stay.
We can accommodate two or possibly three smaller groups sharing the premises at one time and this is easily manageable. As well as the conference room, which will seat 100 people comfortably, there are two other large rooms. The library will seat approximately 30 people, and the old-school gym can be used as a second conference room, as well as being ideal for activities such as painting, dancing and drama. There are various other sitting rooms and meeting rooms that can be used for group work or workshop activities. There are televisions in the Conference Room and Sitting Rooms 3 and 5. The largest group on site will normally be given use of the conference room, but at least one large space will be allocated per group.
Tea and coffee stations can be found dotted about the building, and there is a payphone on site.
There are tennis courts, a playing field, and, in the summer months, an open-air swimming pool. A small play area is available for use by children aged under seven.

MEALS
St Gabriel's is a full board establishment. A continental breakfast is served at 8.30am. A two-course Lunch is served at 1pm and Supper is normally served at 6.30pm. (7pm for Friday night arrivals). Buffets and themed meals, for example Italian or Mexican can be arranged if requested.
The kitchen produces a range of freshly cooked traditional meals, with vegetarian and special diets catered for. If particular diets are required for medical reasons, please inform the wardens before your visit. High chairs can be provided if required.
Day groups who wish to use the premises and bring their own packed lunches are also welcome. We will provide morning tea and afternoon coffee if/when required.
CHAPEL
St Gabriel's chapel is available for corporate or private worship. We are happy to provide prayer books, vestments, and wafers and wine for the Eucharist. We will try to ensure each group gets private prayer time in accordance with their programme. There is also a small, more intimate prayer room at the top of the house for private prayer. A daily Eucharist is held in the Sisters' Chapel, which visitors are welcome to attend.
